Join Preferred by Nature, an international non-profit organization working to support better land management, sustainable supply chains, and climate-friendly business practices globally. As our Forest Certification Intern in Lithuania, you’ll contribute directly to the delivery of certification services by supporting auditors, analyzing information, preparing documentation, and strengthening internal quality processes.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
1. Support Forest Certification Operations
- Assist with preparation of audit documentation, templates, summaries, and internal records.
- Support auditors by preparing audit plans, draft reports, questionnaires, and related materials.
- Provide English and Lithuanian translations for technical and communication materials.
2. Strengthen Quality & Compliance Processes
- Support quality management and accreditation-related documentation.
- Assist with internal monitoring, including data tracking, timeliness follow-up, and reporting.
- Work with internal systems such as Salesforce to maintain accuracy and workflow efficiency.
3. Assist Stakeholder Engagement
- Support communication with stakeholders during consultations.
- Assist in preparing summaries, input materials, and structured documentation for engagement activities.
4. Contribute to Cross-Divisional Tasks
- Collaborate with teams across regions and service areas.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND
- A final-year bachelor's, master’s student, or recent graduate who specializes in forestry, ecology, environmental sciences, or a related subject is required.
- Strong interest in sustainability, forest management, or certification systems.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Lithuanian.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools.
INTERNSHIP SPECIFICS
- Start date: April 2026
- Duration: 6 months with the possibility to extend
- Location: Lithuania, Vilnius (hybrid depending on tasks).
- Hours per week: 20
