Summary of the Position
The P&T Intern, Learning & Insights, supports Preferred by Nature’s People & Talent team in strengthening a culture of learning, engagement, and data-informed decision-making.
The role contributes directly to projects that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and leadership development — aligned with Preferred by Nature’s mission to support better land management and business practices that benefit people, nature, and the climate.
This internship is ideal for a student passionate about HR analytics, learning design, and digital innovation in a mission-driven, international organization.
Purpose of the Role
To support the People & Talent team in implementing and improving learning, engagement, and reporting initiatives through creative use of digital tools, data analysis, and coordination.
The role bridges operational support and innovation, helping to turn insights into action while strengthening Preferred by Nature’s learning culture and organizational impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Learning & Development Coordination
Support the coordination of Preferred by Nature’s leadership and capability development activities.
Assist in planning, logistics, and communication for internal learning programs and workshops.
Help design and update learning materials, visuals, and templates using modern digital tools (e.g., Canva, AI-supported content tools, PowerPoint).
Collect and analyse participant feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
Assist in analysing the outcomes of Staff Development Talks (SDTs), identifying key themes, development needs, and trends across teams.
Contribute to creating and maintaining individual and organizational development portfolios based on SDT insights,
Support reporting and visualization of SDT data for management review (e.g., dashboards, summaries, and recommendations).
2. Engagement and Organizational Insights
Contribute to the analysis and visualization of results from the employee engagement survey and pulse check initiatives.
Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in engagement data.
Maintain a confidential, professional approach to handling people data and insights.
3. HR Data, Reporting & Digital Tools
Support the maintenance and accuracy of HR data and dashboards in coordination with the P&T team.
Use Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, or similar tools to organize and visualize people metrics.
Explore ways to use AI and automation to enhance HR reporting, knowledge management, or process efficiency.
Assist in creating data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making within P&T.
Support with expense reports, invoices and P&T document preparation.
4. Communication and Collaboration
Prepare internal updates, slides, and reports on learning, engagement, and HR insights.
Collaborate with colleagues globally, helping connect People & Talent initiatives across regions.
Contribute to the team’s communication and storytelling — making people data and learning initiatives engaging and accessible.
5. Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Suggest and pilot new approaches or digital tools to enhance learning or data management.
Apply Preferred by Nature’s Way of Working and Lean mindset to improve HR processes.
Participate in internal innovation or cross-functional projects where people insights play a role.
Participate in various projects to improve the employee experience, for example, global alignment of sickness benefits
Learning Outcomes for the Intern
By the end of the internship, the intern will:
Gain hands-on experience in learning coordination, data analysis, and HR reporting.
Learn how to connect engagement data with cultural and leadership development actions.
Build confidence in using digital tools (Excel, SharePoint, AI, Power BI, etc.) to support People & Talent operations.
Strengthen analytical, visual, and communication skills in a global sustainability organization.
Have an overview how global P&T processes work in international environment
Qualifications and Competencies
Education & Background
In the final year of study in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Administration or a related subject. *We do not provide visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants must hold an active student status in Denmark and possess all necessary documentation to legally live and work in the country.
Interest in people analytics, digital HR, and learning design.
Skills
Good command of Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis; knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is an advantage.
Confident using digital and AI-based tools for research, visualization, or content creation.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, knowledge of other language is big asset *Italian, Spanish
