Intern, Romania

Are you passionate about people and the environment? Would you like to gain working experience in a Danish NGO with a friendly working environment in Cluj-Napoca, Romania? If you are a student of Forestry or Environmental Studies in the last year of your bachelor's or master's studies, or recently graduated, you might be a great fit for our new internship programme in Romania

In this role, you will be:

• Learning more about our unique organisation, certification schemes, competitors, and clients in the industry
• Working with the Office 365 suite and our internal system, Salesforce
• Helping with the review of promotion materials and translations of websites
• Observing audits and participating in client meetings alongside your mentor/senior colleagues
• Assisting in running the office
• Helping to organise and attend events such as trainings, seminars, and webinars
• Developing a networking database and attending industry networking events
• Support data integrity monitoring

Important that you:

• Have a comprehensive understanding of environmental certification standards such as FSC and PEFC.
• Be a student specializing in the environment or forestry
• Entering the last year of your bachelor's or master's studies or recently graduated
• Have a passion for sustainability and the environment
• Be interested in long-term collaboration
• Have experience working with the Office 365 suite
• Be able to manage details, think creatively, and handle competing priorities while working independently and as part of a team
• Have outstanding Romanian and English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have a personal laptop you can use during the internship
