What you can expect as an IT Business Analyst at Preferred by Nature:
In this role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing our business operations by gathering, dissecting, and interpreting business processes. You'll gather, analyze, and interpret business processes, working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights. This transformation of data will drive informed decision-making across the organization.
In your role as an IT Business Analyst, your willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges will be a significant asset during your initial year, so here's what you can look forward to:
Within the first three months, you will:
- Gain proficiency in conducting thorough IT process analysis, enabling you to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our organizational ecosystem, laying the foundation for your meaningful contributions to ongoing projects.
- Use your skills to bring together people, fostering collaboration and ensuring a clear understanding of responsibility scopes, facilitating smoother project execution.
Within the first six months, you will:
- Dive headfirst into our projects, conducting in-depth analyses to uncover insights and opportunities for refinement, ensuring our initiatives reach their highest potential.
- Build your proficiency to confidently handle intricate analysis tasks, taking on more challenging projects and contributing to our organization's strategic success.
- Develop the ability to communicate effectively and transparently with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear understanding across all fronts.
Within the first year you will:
- Become entirely self-reliant and assured in your interactions with stakeholders, ensuring you can navigate complex discussions and decisions with confidence and autonomy.
- Take full responsibility for technical business requirements, ensuring they are not only kept up to date but also actively creating and evolving them to align with our evolving needs and objectives.
- Develop the capability to independently initiate and establish projects, taking the lead in driving them to successful completion, showcasing your leadership skills and project management acumen.
Important that you:
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analysis role or similar positions such as data analyst, system analyst, or project manager.
- Have advanced proficiency in SharePoint for sophisticated document management, workflow automation, and intranet solutions.
- Have proficiency in Figma for crafting mock-ups and wireframes.
- Have proven experience with data visualization and reporting software, such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Understand real-time tracking of business metrics using tools like Google Analytics, along with other reporting platforms.
- Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Proficient in Excel and a strong background in querying languages such as SQL.
- Possess excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong verbal/written communication skills.
Would also be great, but not necessary, if you:
- Basic understanding of UX/UI.
- Have proven ability to work cross-functionally.
